Entomologist recognized for outstanding extension publications
Raymond Cloyd, entomology professor, received four Awards of Merit from the American Rose Society for articles published in 2013.
Awards of Merit recognize those publications considered to represent the top articles published in the industry during the year. This is an exceptionally high number of recognitions by the American Rose Society for an author in any one year.
Cloyd's publications addressed a range of relevant pest management questions for the flower industry, including miticides, rose aphids, use of soaps on roses, and information about insecticides and hormoligosis.
