K-State Olathe accepting applications for two new associate dean positions
K-State Olathe has two new associate dean positions open, the associate dean for academic affairs and executive education and the associate dean for research and innovation.
The associate dean for academic affairs and executive education will lead the development, implementation and assessment of integrated and interdisciplinary graduate, executive and specialized educational programs, with emphasis on students who are working professionals. This position is approximately 50 percent administrative and 50 percent teaching responsibilities and reports directly to the CEO. For more information, see employment on the K-State Olathe website.
The associate dean for research and innovation will oversee and promote applied, interdisciplinary and translational research activities at the Olathe campus. This person will strengthen the relationship to research programs at the Manhattan and Salina campuses and in the greater Kansas City area and beyond. The associate dean's position is approximately 50 percent administrative and 50 percent research-related and reports directly to the CEO.
