New course open to all students explores West African drumming and percussion
West African Drumming and Percussion, Music 281, is a new course at K-State that will explore traditional and recreational music from several different cultures from Ghana, West Africa.
The class will meet from 9:30-10:20 a.m. Tuesdays and Thursdays in 007 Nichols Hall.
Students will learn the music and playing techniques on various African drums and percussion instruments. Some instruments will be provided. This course is open to all K-State students.
