K-State bands announce golf tournament fundraiser
The K-State Pride of Wildcat Land Marching Band is proud to announce the first annual Red Skelton Marching Pride Scholars Golf Tournament.
The tournament will be played at Topeka's Firekeeper Golf Course on July 28. This golf outing is designed as a fundraiser to help the new Marching Pride Scholars program. Financial support of this program will help keep the K-State Marching Band cheering for wildcat victory and wabashing as one of the biggest and best university marching bands in the land. The band is looking for corporations to advertise and sponsor holes, carts, and food for the event. We are also looking for anyone who is interested in playing golf at this beautiful new course and helping K-State students succeed at the same time.
For more information, please contact Frank Tracz, director of bands, at 532-3816 or check out the K-State band’s website. Registration and sponsorship forms are available online and all proceeds go toward the Red Skelton Marching Pride Scholarship fund. Sign up your corporation or foursome today and see you on July 28.
