K-State Online: Scantron is now available in Canvas

Submitted by Information Technology Services

Instructors who are teaching courses in K-State Online powered by Canvas can now import Scantron test-result files into their courses.

The test-scoring machines for campus use, in 214 Hale Library, have now been configured to work with Canvas. For step-by-step instructions on how to use Scantron cards in Canvas, view the Converting Scantron into Canvas Gradebook Knowledge Base article.

Currently, information technology services is working to develop an enterprise solution that will meet everyone's test-scoring needs. Many departments on campus have their own test-scoring machines with varying models and ages. Members of information technology services will meet with these departments to assess their needs and work on a solution.
