Tilford Incentive Grants informational meetings Sept. 15, 16
Submitted by Jana Fallin and Myra Gordon
The Tilford Group of Kansas State University has been instrumental in providing leadership to promote multicultural competency development, defined as the collective process through which university personnel help students learn the knowledge, personal attributes and skills necessary to live and work in a diverse world.
The Tilford Incentive Grants are offered through the Office of the Provost for faculty who desire to promote multicultural competency development in their courses. The grants in the past have funded some incredible projects including DVDs, oral histories and research in various disciplines.
Come to one of the Tilford Informational Meetings to learn more at 3 p.m. Monday, Sept. 15, or 3 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 16, both in Room 206 in the K-State Student Union Room.
You will receive information about writing a successful grant for Tilford funding. Hope to see you either Monday or Tuesday.
