Maldonado-Franzen appointed director of talent acquisition in Division of Human Capital Services
Roberta Maldonado-Franzen has been appointed director of talent acquisition. Currently, Maldonado-Franzen is the interim director, Title IX coordinator, ADA coordinator for Kansas State University.
Before working at K-State, Maldonado-Franzen worked at Target as an executive team leader for softlines, logistics and guest experience where she recruited retail personnel. She received a Master of Science in human resources from Central Michigan University and a bachelor's degree in psychology and certification in conflict resolution from Kansas State University. As a continuous learner, Maldonado-Franzen also has certification through the Society of Human Resource Management.
Maldonado-Franzen will be charged to redesign the talent acquisition process using rigorous continuous improvement methodology so that both applicants and hiring managers experience an exceptional experience through a new and improved streamlined process.
As the director of talent acquisition, Maldonado-Franzen will be responsible for building an effective talent acquisition team that offers as a norm customer centric services, content expertise in sourcing and recruiting strategies and best practices for the acquisition and retention of talent.
Next week, the Division of Human Capital Services will focus on selecting the directors of benefits and labor relations and special projects. Additional announcements will be made as appointments are named.
