Accounting professor presents research at conference in Toronto
John Morris, assistant professor of accounting, spoke at an executive conference on Internal Controls sponsored by INFONEX in Toronto, Dec. 6-7.
Morris, who teaches accounting in the master of business administration, master of accountancy as well as the undergraduate program at Kansas State University, was invited to present his paper "The Impact of Enterprise Resource Planning Systems on the Effectiveness of Internal Controls Over Financial Reporting," and other findings of the research he has completed while at the College of Business Administration.
The conference was attended by accounting and financial executives, and included presentations by academics and corporate practitioners.
Morris earned a master’s in business administration and doctorate from Kent State University. He has a bachelor’s from the University of South Dakota.
