Women's basketball team opens Big 12 play against defending national champion Texas A&M tonight
The women's basketball team returns to Manhattan on Wednesday night looking to extend its four-game winning streak in Big 12 openers, hosting defending national champion and No. 9/9 ranked Texas A&M at 5:30 p.m. This is the third time in the last six seasons K-State will open Big 12 action with an opponent ranked in the Associated Press top-25 poll.

Kansas State leads the series with Texas A&M, 12-7. The matchup stands at 6-2 in favor of K-State in games played in Manhattan. The Wildcats won the last meeting with the Aggies, 71-67, on March 2, 2011, in Manhattan.
