Submitted by Sarah McGreer Hoyt
Kim Piper, administrative officer at K-State Libraries, has earned her professional in human resources certification through the Human Resources Certification Institute. The certification demonstrates mastery of the technical and operational aspects of human resources practices and U.S. laws and regulations.
"Kim serves the Libraries day-to-day with such professionalism," said Michelle Bowen, director of human resources and diversity for K-State Libraries. "This certification is further proof of her abilities and commitment to the HR profession. We're fortunate to have her on our team."
To receive the certification, you must meet strict professional experience and educational requirements before taking an exam. To remain certified, you must stay current in the human resources profession and recertify every three years.
