Professor James Hamilton will present a paper to the Pacific Division meetings of the American Society for Aesthetics, April 8-10. His talk "Arts and Ents" will discuss three philosophical themes that arise in the films: "Alien," 1979; "Alien: Resurrection," 1997; "The Matrix," 1999; and "Do The Right Thing," 1989.
