K-State Project Runway features 'America’s Next Top Model' star
The Union Program Council will host K-State Project Runway for the sixth year in a row on Friday, April 3. Featuring "America's Next Top Model" star Whitney Thompson as a guest judge, this year's event will discuss current topics in fashion as Thompson presents "Plus-size Modeling and Women's Self-Esteem."
Thompson, a plus-size model and cycle 10 winner of "America's Next Top Model," will speak at 7 p.m. with a runway show following at approximately 8:15 p.m. The runway show will feature contestant's work that is centered around a K-State Proud, a VIPCats T-shirt and an accent color.
This year's event is cosponsored by K-State Proud, LGBT Resource Center and Wildcat Watch. A WellCAT Ambassador informational booth will be available before the event and during intermission.
