Reminder: Climate survey results to be shared today
Submitted by Ruth Dyer and Tom Vontz
Dr. Susan Rankin, Rankin & Associates Consulting, will share results from K-State's first comprehensive climate survey in two town hall-style meetings today, Wednesday, April 29. Please join us for one of the following meetings:
- Town Hall meeting I will be from 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the Hemisphere Room in Hale Library.
- Town Hall meeting II will be from 2-3:30 p.m. in the Little Theatre at the K-State Student Union.
Both meetings also will be live-streamed with a username of "climate" and password of "survey" to access. Questions will be taken following each session. If you have questions to ask remotely, please send an email to tvontz@k-state.edu or text message to 785-236-1449.
Conducted in fall 2014, this was the university's first comprehensive climate assessment available to all faculty, staff and students and included all campuses — Manhattan, Salina, Olathe and Global — as well as K-State Research and Extension.
The survey was administered by Rankin & Associates Consulting, in collaboration with a University Climate Survey Committee representing K-State's campuses, leadership and governance groups. The committee was jointly appointed by Provost and Senior Vice President April Mason and presidents of Faculty Senate and University Support Staff (formerly Classified Senate).
