Kile named emerging child care leader
Kasey Kile, an instructor in early childhood education in the School of Family Studies and Human Services, College of Human Ecology, has been named Exceptional Emerging Leader 2015 by the Child Care Exchange.
She was selected by a national committee of early care and education leaders based on leadership, roles, knowledge base and spirit.
"It is my mission to engage, foster and inspire others to expand upon their knowledge of developmentally appropriate practices within early childhood education," Kile said. "I am also an advocate of quality care and education for young children."
Kile, who received bachelor's and master's degrees from K-State in early childhood development, also is training and curriculum specialist for Kansas Child Care Training Opportunities in Manhattan.
