Office of affirmative action's website features updated information following assessment report
Submitted by Roberta Maldonado Franzen
Improving communications was a key need identified in the recent recruiting and hiring assessment. As a follow-up to the president’s January letter to campus Tuesday, the office of affirmative action has updated its website with a summary of changes, the revised checklist and forms.
I invite you to visit the "What's New" section to learn about these changes and others as we continue to respond to the assessment report. In addition, two briefing and informational sessions for departmental administrative personnel who support the search process will be offered from 10-11 a.m. and 1:30-2:30 p.m. Friday, Feb. 10, in Hale Library's Hemisphere Room. I am also making arrangements to brief the administrative professionals at K-State Salina and K-State Olathe.
We understand that there will be many questions resulting from the changes in our recruiting and hiring procedures. The office of affirmative action staff are available to answer your questions at any time.
Thank you.
Roberta
