Geography doctoral candidate and advisor awarded NSF DDRI grant
Julie Commerford, doctoral candidate in geography, and Kendra McLauchlan, associate professor of geography, have received an $11,267 National Science Foundation Doctoral Dissertation Research Improvement Award for "Investigating the Influence of Biotic and Abiotic Factors on Grasslands in the Great Plains Region of the U.S."
The award will support Commerford's doctoral dissertation work, which McLauchlan is supervising.
