Greek Affairs to change name to Fraternity and Sorority Life
To better reflect the work and mission of the office and community, the Office of Greek Affairs will change its name to the Office of Fraternity and Sorority Life effective Jan. 1.
The office serves as a resource for all of K-State's sororities and fraternities. The office provides programs and services that promote the community, help chapters recruit new members, develop leaders, and ensure a beneficial and successful undergraduate experience.
Our staff serves as the primary advisors to the Panhellenic Council with 13 Panhellenic sororities and our 25 Interfraternity Council fraternities. A few of our organizations are not Greek-letter organizations, so the new name is more inclusive of all of our chapters. Also, with relocating the physical office as part of the $25 million K-State Student Union renovation, we felt it would be an appropriate time to improve the name of our office. Our new address will be 4 K-State Student Union.
Please update your information to reflect our name change. We will be transitioning our website, publications, and promotional information throughout the spring semester.
