The Division of Human Capital Services' Talent Acquisition now offers additional learning and development opportunities to improve recruitment efforts.
On Monday, the division announced that the recruitment module in the PageUp applicant tracking system is available to the university community. The onboarding module will be available in February. Both initiatives will assist the university in reaching its K-State 2025 goal to recruit a highly talented, diverse workforce through strategic planning and execution.
More than 120 faculty and staff have completed Introduction to PageUp Applicant Tracking System. The training is designed to equip participants on how to get started with the PageUp applicant tracking system. Applicant tracking system instruction guides are provided as a resource to the university. However, all users are strongly encouraged to attend the computer-based training. Additional trainings will be offered in February when the onboarding module is available in the PageUp applicant tracking system.
More than 740 faculty and staff have completed Introduction to Search Committee Roles and Responsibilities and Hiring Top Talent. This training is required for all university faculty and staff that participate on a search committee. The training emphasizes and reiterates the importance of maintaining fair and consistent practices for the recruitment, interview and selection process, and how to attract talent.
Interview Designer: Utilizing Competency-Based Interview Questions focuses on building an aptitude among interviewers at the university and equipping leaders on best practices during the interview process. Participants will learn how to select relevant competency-based interview questions and how to drill down on an experience in order to consistently assess an applicant.
