12th Annual Adamchak Distinguished Lecture in Sociology is tonight
Douglas S. Massey, Bryant professor of sociology and public affairs at Princeton University and president of the American Academy of Political and Social Science, will present the 12th annual Donald J. Adamchak Distinguished Lecture Series In Sociology.
Massey's lecture, "The Paradoxical Origins of America’s War on Immigrants," will be at 7 tonight in the Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union. The lecture is free and open to the public.
The Adamchak lecture series was established by the Sociology Graduate Student Association and by present and former faculty colleagues of the late Professor Adamchak. The purpose of the series is to honor his memory and add intellectual distinction to life at Kansas State University by inviting an outstanding speaker here once a year.
