Interior architecture & planning design student wins district student merit award
Zach Manuel, fifth-year interior architecture & product design student at Kansas State University, won the Industrial Designers Society of America District Student Merit Award.
The student merit awards provide students in industrial design opportunities to showcase their talent and achievements. It also allows schools such as K-State with industrial design programs to gain acclaim and visibility among other institutions. Further, it provides an ample platform for design professionals to meet with the industrial design geniuses of the future.
Manuel will go on to compete at the regional level at the University of Illinois, Urbana-Champaign. Also competing for K-State was interior architecture & product design fifth-year student Grace Manuel who placed second in the event.
