K-State agricultural economics professor testifies before Congress
The 2016 Brandt Forum for the senate committee on agriculture, nutrition and forestry will feature a presentation by Timothy J. Dalton, international agricultural development expert from the agricultural economics department.
Dalton will present "U.S. Investments in Innovation: What are the Impacts Around the World?" to the committee at 11 a.m. Wednesday, April 27, in Washington, D.C. The key issue for the session will focus on how agricultural research is impacting developing countries, and how policy can help reach international economic development goals.
