Ketty Reppert named English Language Program associate director
The Office of International Programs has named Ketty Reppert as English language program, or ELP, associate director. Reppert starts in her new role the week of July 5.
Reppert will assist the director of the English language program by providing oversight of the academic affairs portions of the program.
"I have so enjoyed my time in the ELP, both the teaching assignments and all the opportunities to engage with students and ELP faculty," Reppert, said. "I look forward to the opportunity to work with faculty and students in new ways as I step into the role of associate director."
Reppert joined the English language program as an instructor in 2006 and has worked in areas of advising, curriculum and assessment, and enrollment logistics. She also was very involved in coordinating details of the program's reaccreditation process in 2013, resulting in a successful 10-year reaccreditation review by the Commission on English Language Program Accreditation. Reppert recently returned from Santiago, Chile, where she and Taylor Jennings, English language program faculty member, conducted four teacher training workshops at Universidad Central.
"Ketty has been very engaged in many aspects of the ELP operation and I am excited about her commitment to elevating the professionalism of our program and her demonstrated contributions of bringing diverse groups and people together around a common goal," said Mary Wood, director of the English language program.
