K-State United Way campaign wrap-up

K-State’s United Way Committee is announcing the 2011 campaign by the numbers. The committee wishes to thank the K-State family of the Olathe, Salina and Manhattan campuses, including K-State Alumni Association and Kansas State University Foundation staff, as well as many K-State retirees who contributed to the campaign. A big thank you also is extended to K-State's Division of Human Resources and the Division of Communications and Marketing for donated services and materials.

By the numbers:

• 711 members of the K-State family donated
• $123,647.11 total donated
• 23 United Way Pillars (donors who make a contribution of $1,000 or more)
• $28,932.00 amount contributed by United Way Pillars on the Manhattan campus
• 62 donations from K-State retirees
• $16,980.00 amount contributed by K-State retirees

The committee would like to thank the following departments for donating incentive prizes to the campaign:
