Plant germplasm specialist to give 28th Heyne Lecture today.
The 28th Heyne Lecture will be at 4 p.m. today in 1018 Throckmorton Hall. Candice Gardner, U.S. Department of Agriculture-Agricultural Research Service research Leader for the North Central Plant Introduction Station in Ames, Iowa, will be the guest lecturer. Her presentation is titled "Capturing Useful Genetic Diversity to Enhance Agricultural Production." A reception, preceding the lecture will be in the lobby of Throckmorton Hall at 3:30.
