Pair of Kansas State business students recognized by the Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals' Heartland Roundtable recently announced that two Kansas State University College of Business Administration students were selected as recipients of its 2016 Scholarship Awards.

Andrea Labiste-Teme, senior in operations and supply chain management with a minor in French, Coronel Bogado, Paraguay, has received an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the upcoming annual Global Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals Conference in Orlando, Florida. She is the secretary of the K-State Global Supply Chain Club, a chair for K-State Open House, and a member of the College of Business Administration Student Ambassadors.

Connor Rockrohr, senior in operations and supply chain management with a minor in economics, Lenexa, has also received an all-expenses-paid trip to attend the annual conference in addition to a $2,000 scholarship. Rockrohr is the president of the Global Supply Chain Club at K-State, a member of Mortar Board Honor Society, and a member of the College of Business Administration Student Ambassadors.

The Council of Supply Chain Management Professionals is the preeminent worldwide professional association for the fields of logistics and supply chain management. The association's Heartland Roundtable represents the Kansas City region.
