Career Center hosting Health Career Meet-Up event on Nov. 3
Students interested in working in health-oriented careers are invited to attend the Health Career Meet-Up, a networking event hosted by the Career Center, from 5:30-7 p.m. Nov. 3 in the Great Room of the Berney Family Welcome Center.
The event is designed to connect employers and students in the health and wellness fields. Students looking to enhance their graduate or medical school application and those seeking full-time, part-time or internship positions are encouraged to attend. Undergraduate or graduate students from any major are welcome.
Students planning to attend should bring multiple copies of their resume and dress in business casual attire.
Organizations represented include Cerner Corp., KUMC Rural Health Education and Services, Mattie Rhodes Center, Meadowlark Hills, Cleveland University, Kansas City; Interim Healthcare, Flint Hills Community Health Center, MedExpress Urgent Care, Stoneybrook Health and Rehab, Peace Corps, Breg Inc. and more.
