United Way Campaign Committee recognizes K-State volunteers for increasing donors, pledges
Submitted by K-State United Way Campaign Committee
K-State's United Way Campaign Committee is recognizing volunteers for their efforts promoting this year's campaign.
Thanks to volunteers and generous donors on all of K-State's campuses, $56,442.50 has been pledged. We are more than halfway to this year's goal of $100,000, and it's not too late to donate. Make your pledge through Employee Self Service by Dec. 18 so it can be counted toward the K-State United Way campaign.
The following volunteers increased the number of donors and pledges in their departments:
• Kristin Oberheide, international programs
• Troy Eckart, agronomy
• J. Ernest Minton, Agricultural Experiment Station
• Kent Kerby, biology
• Eric Maatta, chemistry
• Amy Hageman, accounting
• Kate Taylor, Graduate School
• Viki Horan, Information Technology Services
• Kathy Quigley, College of Education
• Audrey Fritz, College of Veterinary Medicine
Evelyn Dakken, administrative officer in the Division of Communications and Marketing, and Peggie Post, English department, increased the amount of pledges in their departments.
Dorothy Doan, administrative assistant to the dean of the College of Agriculture, increased the number of donors in the agriculture department.
