2016 printed W-2 wage and tax statements are in the mail
Submitted by Human Capital Services
The state of Kansas has mailed 2016 W-2 wage and tax statements to those who did not consent to receive their W-2 electronically as of Jan. 24. The 2016 W-2 forms are printed on plain paper and have been mailed to employees in a sealed, security envelope. The return address for all W-2 forms mailed this year is the address of the Department of Administration's Office of Printing and Mailing.
Employees may still consent to view their W-2 form information electronically through State of Kansas Employee Self Service at any time. All employees — and former employees for up to 18 months following separation — have access to consent/view/print their W-2 form electronically via State of Kansas Employee Self Service.
Electronic consent/access also is a great option for employees who may not receive their initial printed/mailed W-2 form due to expired address forwarding, etc. Consent to receive your W-2 form electronically at k-state.edu/hcs/work-life/pay/w2consent.html.
