Submitted by Communications and Marketing
The United Way Campaign Committee invites K-Staters to learn more about the campaign and the local organizations it supports at Manhattan Town Center's 2017 Community Fair from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 4.
Organizations in the spheres of health care, low-income services, families, education, the military, children and recreation will have booths throughout the mall. Everyone is invited to come to the free event to learn about local services, outreach programs and volunteer opportunities.
As of Jan. 31, 357 K-Staters have donated $72,369 to the K-State United Way campaign. As the campaign continues, learn more about K-State's connection to United Way at k-state.edu/unitedway or make a donation through Employee Self Service.
In addition to Konza United Way, the fair will feature the Boys & Girls Club of Manhattan, Kansas Big Brothers Big Sisters, Shepherd's Crossing, Thrive! (formerly Circles Manhattan) and more.
