Phi Kappa Phi initiation ceremony March 14
The honor society of Phi Kappa Phi will have its annual initiation ceremony from 4:30-5:30 p.m. March 14 in the Engineering Hall auditorium, DUE 1109. A light reception will follow in the lower atrium outside of the auditorium.
Jana Fallin, director of the K-State Teaching and Learning Center and university distinguished teaching scholar, will provide the keynote address.
Phi Kappa Phi recognizes and promotes academic excellence in all fields of higher education and engages the community of scholars in service to others. The new initiates for spring 2017 are second-semester juniors in the upper 7.5 percent of their class, seniors in the upper 10 percent of their class, or outstanding graduate students in the top 10 percent of their class.
