Don't miss your final opportunity to participate in the Innovation and Economic Prosperity designation process
The second of two open forums for the Innovation and Economic Prosperity Designation process will be from 4-6 p.m. Monday, March 6, in the seminar room at the Manhattan/K-State Innovation Center at 2005 Research Park Circle. Forums also will take place at K-State Olathe and K-State Polytechnic. The first open forum provided excellent feedback. This second forum will focus on identifying action items for the required growth and improvement plan. Results from the Innovation and Economic Prosperity designation surveys will be shared.
Stakeholder input and involvement is critical to the success of obtaining the Innovation and Economic Prosperity designation. Please register to attend and feel free to email Kiley Moody at kmoody@k-state.edu if you have questions.
Designation as an Innovation and Economic Prosperity institution will allow K-State to join an elite group of only 60 institutions across the country and will serve as a valuable process and step toward achieving our goal of becoming a Top 50 public research university. The designation could result in additional state and federal funding opportunities and affords K-State the opportunity to better communicate all of the many ways economic engagement occurs as a result of faculty, staff, students, programs, centers and institutes at K-State.
Your support and feedback during this process is greatly appreciated. Read more about the program.
