Attend the 2017 Hospitality Summit March 14-15
Interested in a career in the hospitality industry?
Join the hospitality management department for its inaugural Hospitality Summit. The summit is a two-day event, March 14-15, that takes place at the K-State Alumni Center and is open to anyone who is interested in hospitality as a career.
March 14 will focus on breakout sessions, including Selecting a Track, Job or Internship; Mentors — How to and Benefits; Interview Tips; and Salary Negotiation. These sessions will be followed by a roundtable discussion with industry employers and professionals, and the day will conclude with keynote speaker, Jose Mola, the general manger of Disney's Boardwalk Resort.
March 15 is the hospitality career exploration fair in the morning at the K-State Alumni Center and same-day interviews in the afternoon at the Career Center.
The summit will showcase a multitude of options for hospitality students and those students interested in the hospitality management program at K-State. This event will highlight many career opportunities in restaurants, lodging, food and beverage, or event planning.
Please register online before March 5 to get a printed name tag. The Hospitality Summit is free and open to all K-State students.
