Fall 2017 Body Project workshops open to students
Do you like what you see in the mirror? According to a Yahoo Health survey in 2015, only 1 in 7 Americans feels "body positive" about themselves.
Lafene Health Center and Counseling Services have collaborated to bring you the Body Project, a nationally acclaimed, peer-to-peer program designed to promote body acceptance among college-aged students. Don't allow cultural pressures to conform to the "appearance-ideal" define you. Be an advocate for yourself and your peers.
Two Body Project workshops will take place in October and November. Each workshop will have two sessions, both from 7-9 p.m. in 3043 Business Building. Please choose a set of the workshop that works best for your schedule. You will receive a confirmation email prior to your workshop date.
Note: Please be sure that you are able to attend both sessions under that workshop. Space for each workshop is limited, so registration is required. Reserve your spot today.
