Career Center to host pre-health career series for students
The Career Center will host three separate events as part of a health career-related series. These events are for students interested in working in a health-related industry.
The first event is the Health Career Meet-Up from 5:30-7:30 p.m. Oct. 26. During this event, undergrad and graduate students have the opportunity to network with employers in the health, fitness and wellness fields. Students are encouraged to dress in business casual attire and bring multiple copies of their resume.
The second event is an Improv Night with K-State's improvisational acting troupe, On the Spot. This event takes place from 6-8 p.m. Nov. 14. During this event, students can learn how to tell their story "on the spot" when networking with employers.
The last event that is part of the pre-health career series is the Health Professions Mock Interviews hosted from 5-8 p.m. Nov. 30. During this event, students can practice with industry professionals for medical, physician assistant, occupational therapy, physical therapy or nursing school interviews.
All three events will be hosted in the Berney Family Welcome Center Great Room in the south end of the building. All events are free to students. For more information about these events, please visit the Career Center website.
