'Family Memory after the Holocaust' presentation Nov. 8
On Wednesday, Nov. 8, Joyce Hess, a second-generation survivor of the Holocaust, will speak about her mother, Sonia Golad, who survived two labor camps and three concentration camps before immigrating to the United States and settling in Kansas City. The presentation will be from 7-8:30 p.m. in 123 Weber Hall.
The event — free and open to the public — is sponsored by the K-State First Program and the Midwest Center for Holocaust Education.
