Faculty-Led Program Proposal Materials
Recently updated proposal materials are posted on the proposal materials section of the faculty leaders page on the study abroad website, http://www.k-state.edu/studyabroad/faculty_leaders/prop_materials.html. Please review the proposal instructions document prior to starting the proposal application. This document also includes additional information regarding the new review process for faculty-led programs. Incomplete proposals will be deferred to future term(s)/year(s); only complete proposals will be accepted for review by the CIAC. If this is a new program, please complete the "New Program Proposal Form." If the program you are considering to offer is to the same location and will have the same content, then please use the "Repeat Program Proposal Form." The program budget sheets have been consolidated into one spreadsheet called the Faculty-Led Program Expenses Budget. The additional and supporting materials are required for both proposal forms. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact Murrow, rebm@ksu.ed).
Faculty Leader Orientations for Fall 2012 (Dates to TBD)
The mandatory orientations will be offered multiple times throughout the semesters, but attendance is required only once. Faculty leaders, who previously attended the orientation, are not required to attend again. The purpose of this orientation is to discuss important topics such as students' physical and mental health, behavioral problems, legal/liability issues, accommodating students with disabilities, participant selection criteria, developing an emergency response plan, etc. For more information, please contact rebm@k-state.edu.
