Rauh joins McNair Scholars Program as program manager

The Ronald E. McNair Postbaccalaureate Achievement Program welcomed Cheryl Rauh as program manager on Jan. 8. She is responsible for managing the program and ensuring that it meets the student learning objectives and grant requirements. Rauh also is responsible for recruiting new scholars and verifying the eligibility of potential applicants for the McNair Scholars Program.
Rauh has more than nine years of experience in providing academic services to diverse populations, including working with students who are low income and first-generation college students. For the last year and a half, she has been the student services coordinator for Educational Supportive Services and the McNair Scholars Program at K-State. She also worked as an English instructor, mentor and tutor at K-State. She has experience writing technical, promotional and educational materials in the fields of wildlife management, private practice medicine and aviation.
Rauh earned a Bachelor of Arts in English with a minor in writing from the University of Northern Colorado and a Master of Arts in English emphasizing composition and rhetoric at K-State.
