Reminder about Engagement Benchmarking Tool
Kansas State University has a rich history of engaging and assisting Kansas' citizens and communities around critical issues. Engagement is foundational to K-State. It is part of our mission statement. It is one of our Principles of Community. It is an important theme area of K-State's 2025 Visionary Plan. Hundreds of our campus faculty and nearly all of our extension educators are involved with engaged work.
To continue to understand the breadth and significance of campus engagement and to be able to report on our engaged work, the Office of the Provost and Center for Engagement and Community Development are currently administering the Engagement Benchmarking Tool, or EBT.
Thanks to all faculty and staff who have already completed the EBT and we encourage all faculty and staff who receive the survey to consider completing this tool. This year is particularly important as EBT data will serve as an important piece of information for K-State's upcoming application to the Carnegie Foundation to be re-classified as a Community Engaged University in 2020.
Completed EBT surveys are due by Feb 2.
