Homes for the holidays: Tickets on sale for homes tour benefiting McCain Performance Series
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Five beautiful homes will be featured during the Friends of McCain Holiday Home Tour in Manhattan on Sunday, Dec. 4.
The homes will be open from 11 a.m. to 5 p.m. with the final tour beginning at 4:45 p.m. The tour is a fundraiser for Kansas State University’s McCain Auditorium and will showcase local homes decorated for the holiday season. Money raised from the event will support the McCain Performance Series and its education and outreach activities.
The tour will feature the residences of K-State President Kirk and Noel Schulz; Dave and Kristen Dreiling; Mike and Karen Sheffield; Bill Meredith; and Prairiewood Retreat and Preserve, owned by Kail and Rebecca Katzenmeier.
Tickets are $15 in advance or $20 at the door. They are available -- cash and check only -- through Dec. 4 in Manhattan at the McCain Auditorium box office, Ann A. Lee's, Bluestem Bistro, Radina's Aggieville and west locations, Dillons east and Westloop locations, Hy-Vee, Ray's Apple Market east and downtown locations, and Rod's Card and Gift Shop. They may also be purchased by credit card online at http://www.found.ksu.edu/hometour through Nov. 21. Tickets purchased online will be mailed to the purchaser. Tickets are nonrefundable and include directions to the homes.
Children under the age of 13, strollers and pets will not be admitted, and photography inside the homes is not permitted. The homes may be viewed in any order the ticket holder chooses.
