Vernon Larson Lecture today
Please join the Office of International Programs for the first Vernon Larson Lecture of spring 2018.
"Peace Corps and Ethical Service: 'What Impact Can Volunteerism Have on a Community and on the Self?'" will be 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 31, in Town Hall of the Leadership Studies Building.
Panelists will include Becky Carnes, who served in Botswana and is now in the sociology department and is K-State's Peace Corps representative; Marisa Larson, who served in Morocco and currently works at the KSU Foundation; Susan Yelich Biniecki, who served in Poland and is on faculty in College of Education; Zain Iqbal, who served in Uzbekistan and is a research librarian; and Kenneth Neils, who served in Nepal and is in agricultural/agribusiness development with USAID.
The lecture is presented by the Office of International Programs and the Peace Corps, in partnership with the Staley School of Leadership Studies.
