Your health and the built environment paid study
Taylor Whitaker, graduate student in regional and community planning, with Brent Chamberlain, professor of landscape architecture and regional & community planning, is studying the effects of environments on human behavior and stress. The project is a continuation of a study done by Parker Ruskamp, a 2016 Master of Landscape Architecture graduate.
Whitaker is seeking volunteer participants for a research study to be conducted in the next few weeks.
Participants must be willing and able to complete a 20-30 minute walk — with mobility device if needed — around downtown Manhattan, with a total time commitment of about one hour. If you are willing to share your time, please fill out the online form or drop by the ALIVE! Laboratory on the first floor in Seaton Hall.
The study will offer a $10 compensation as Cat Cash.
The studies have been approved by the Kansas State University Institutional Review Board.
