Open house set for NACADA research center
An open house has been set celebrating the NACADA Center for Research at Kansas State University, the first global think tank dedicated to research in academic advising and student success. NACADA: The Global Community for Academic Advising is hosted by K-State College of Education.
The open house will be from 2-4 p.m. March 6 at 2323 Anderson Ave., Suite 102J. Remarks will be made by Amy Sannes, NACADA president; Charlie Nutt, NACADA executive director, Wendy Troxel, research center director; Debbie Mercer, dean of the College of Education; and Ken Hughey, chair of the department of special education, counseling and student affairs.
The leaders' remarks will be streamed live on Facebook starting at about 2:25 p.m.
