Submitted by Shireen Roshanravan
Shireen Roshanravan, assistant professor of women's studies, recently published her article, "Staying Home While Studying Abroad: Anti-Imperial Praxis for Globalizing Feminist Visions," in the Journal of Feminist Scholarship.
Roshanravan's article draws on research of the growing institutionalization of study abroad programs in women's studies curriculum to outline a methodology of internationalization that facilitates an understanding of the relationship between diversity in the United States and diversity abroad. The Journal of Feminist Scholarship features Roshanravan's article as the lead of its current issue.
