College of Arts and Sciences appreciates graduate students
The College of Arts and Sciences hosted a pizza party on April 3 as part of Graduate Student Appreciation Week.
"We recognize that graduate students are integral to the teaching, research, and service missions of the college and we very much appreciate their efforts and dedication," said Amit Chakrabarti, dean of the college.
As part of the celebration, graduate students could register for an opportunity to win a $500 award to be used for academic purposes, such as conference travel and/or supplies. Congratulations to Herman Coceancigh, doctoral student in chemistry, who won the drawing and will receive this award.
