K-State Confucius Institute offers Chinese Language Summer Camp

Submitted by Jessica Shields

The Confucius Institute is hosting a Chinese culture camp from May 28 to June 29. This is a great way for children ages six to 12 to experience the fascinating Chinese culture through crafts, games, Chinese sports and arts, as well as get started learning a new language.

The camp will be half days from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. Monday through Friday on the K-State Manhattan campus. Students may attend just one week or stay for all five weeks. The camp fee is $60 per week and sibling discounts are available. The Confucius Institute will provide all the supplies needed.

Sign up online or contact the Confucius Institute to register by phone, 785-532-3680, email, manma@k-state.edu, or stop by the office at 1800 Claflin Road, Suite 205 — above Arrow Coffee — Manhattan, KS 66502. Enrollment will be taken on a first come, first served basis.
