Rotaract selected as 2018 Outstanding K-State Student Organization
The Kansas State University chapter of Rotaract International, a registered student organization, is being recognized Sunday, April 29, as the 2018 Outstanding K-State Student Organization by the Staley School of Leadership Studies.
Serendipitously, the award coincides with the 50th anniversary of the founding of Rotaract. The first Rotaract, or Rotary in Action, club started as an affiliate of Rotary International in 1968. The young adult organization focuses on service to community. The K-State Rotaract club has been incredibly active seeking ways to improve the quality-of-life among residents at all scales — locally, nationally and internationally.
