Tracz lectures and students attend Conn-Selmer Institute in Indiana
Frank Tracz, director of bands, 18 undergraduate students, and four graduate students traveled to Mishawaka, Indiana, to participate in the 21st annual Conn-Selmer Institute.
Conn-Selmer, corporate headquarters based in Elkhart, Indiana, is the world's largest manufacturer and sales company of band instruments. The institute is designed for music education students and working music educators to interact with 20 of the country's most prominent band directors and conductors.
This four-day institute offers classes, sessions, performances and lectures organized into five different track levels, designed to fit the needs of undergrad students to the most experienced of teachers. This is Tracz's 10th year of being on the Conn-Selmer faculty and the fourth year that K-State students have attended.
