Locanthi Dowell joins Human Capital Services as compensation and organizational effectiveness manager

Please join Human Capital Services in welcoming Jenny Locanthi Dowell to her new role as compensation and organizational effectiveness manager in talent solutions.
Locanthi Dowell will lead the compensation and organizational effectiveness team and provide direction and communication to support the department. She will play a vital role in developing career paths and implementing competencies into job descriptions, which continues the advancement of the total rewards initiative. She will start her new role in July 2018.
Locanthi Dowell has 10 years of human resources experience and transitioned a work environment to a competency-based framework within the selection process. She was responsible for ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations such as Fair Labor Standards Act, or FLSA. Additionally, she had the opportunity to direct aspects of the total rewards strategy and co-developed a performance management tool in each of her last two roles.
She earned her Society for Human Resources Management-Senior Certified Professional certification from the Society for Human Resources Management, and senior professional in human resources from the Human Resource Certification Institute, demonstrating her commitment to the field and her own continued learning and development. She serves as the director-elect for the Kansas State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management and was awarded the Kansas HR Professional of Year by the Kansas State Council of the Society for Human Resources Management in 2017.
Locanthi Dowell earned her Bachelor of Arts in business administration at the University of Oregon.
