Special envoys: Student ambassadors at K-State Salina ready to represent campus, community

Student ambassadors for Kansas State University Salina have been selected for the 2012-2013 academic year.
The ambassadors represent K-State Salina at events on campus and in the community and play an essential role in connecting with potential students, campus guests and alumni. The group also develops and completes a community service project. Student ambassadors must maintain a minimum GPA of 2.5 and are provided with personal and professional development opportunities.
The 2012-2013 student ambassadors are:
Emmy Meyer, sophomore in family studies and human services, Carlton; Miguel Lopez, sophomore in professional pilot, Dodge City; and Ryan Hillman, junior in aviation maintenance, Quinter.
From out of state: Mar'Quis Hubert, sophomore in professional pilot, Washington, D.C.; and Daison Batangan, sophomore in professional pilot, Kapolei, Hawaii.
