Reminder: Budget modernization open forum Aug. 30
Submitted by Communications and Marketing
Join President Richard Myers, Provost Charles Taber and the Budget Core Executive Team to learn more about the multiyear budget modernization effort during an open forum from 9-11 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 30, in Forum Hall at the K-State Student Union.
Kansas State University is in the learning phase/shadow year of the multiyear project. K-State's goal is to implement a strategic budget model that rewards enrollment and student credit hour growth, aligns with university priorities, incentivizes and energizes innovation, provides greater financial accountability and transparency, unlocks the historical budget, and preserves K-State's land-grant mission.
Read more information about the project on the budget modernization website or read the May 3 update from President Myers.
